Yes, I've seen them both and did like them both, also. They both really kept you guessing, right up to the end, and the acting in them both was very good.

I really liked Runaway Jury..Even tho it seemed a little far fetched I was on the "edge of my seat" most of the time.

I liked both of the movies too. Johnny Depp may be my new favorite actor! I'm just glad he took off the eyeliner for this one (unlike Pirates of the Caribbean). Secret Window reminded me of Misery, another Stephen King that is one of my favorites. A lot of SK's I don't particularly like.

Yes, I love SK's books (most of them, anyway) but a lot of his movies are really crummy. I think my all time hated King movie was The Shining with J. Nicholson. I love the book SO much, and it could have been done so much better (and was, later, for tv). It really disappointed me.

I didn't know there was The Shining made for t.v. I'll have to see if I can find that on video. I never read the book either although I love to read. I did see the Jack N one and wasn't too impressed either...I just bought The Stand by SK at a used book sale in the basement of the library where most books are 10 cents! A friend had told me she loved the book and the movie but I see the book is so thick it'll have to be really good to keep my interest! Have you seen the movie of that? The movie looks about 5 hours long!

Oh, you HAVE to read The Shining! Once you do, you'll see why I hated JN's version of it! The tv movie was a mini series in... (looking it up...) 1997 and starred Steven Weber and Rebecca De Mornay. And I see it is on VHS.

I have read The Stand and it was another really good one. The mini series went at least 5 hours - maybe more! I know I felt like I was watching it forever, LOL! It was good, but not as good as the book. But I seldom like movies more than books.
