See any movies over Thanksgiving?

We went to see Rise of the Guardians. LOVED it! Wasn't sure at first but it was very cute. Theater was fairly empty though, surprising for a holiday weekend. Too many people shopping instead? Did you have the same at your theater, lots of empty seats?

We took the girls to see Wreck-It Ralph and there were a lot of empty seats. Of course, it was probably because Rise of the Guardians was playing to packed houses on two of the other screens... and Breaking Dawn 2 was in the other! LOL
They really want to see Rise of the Guardians, but I'm not sure... the youngest is 5 and it seems like it might be just a little bit too intense for her at that age. What do you think?
