No, not me, (but I got your hopes up, didn't I?) I just wanted to know . . .

Have you ever walked out of a movie? Have you ever wanted to, but didn't? If so, what movie(s) did you leave, why did you leave, or why did you want to leave, and if you wanted to, why didn't you?

************************************

I never have, as far as I remember, but there were a few I kind of wanted to. "Out of Africa" was just too long and boring - but the scenery was nice. I went with my Mom and a little SOMEONE who insisted we take her along (everyone look pointedly at Lumia now, lol!), then fell asleep five minutes into it, lol! I didn't leave because I thought Mom was enjoying the movie (she wasn't, either, lol!) and because, on the rare occasions my dd would take a nap, I tended to LET her sleep, LOL!

Another I can think of was "The Blair Witch Project". Not that it was bad, it wasn't, I enjoyed it... when I could watch it! I didn't think about how the technique of using a hand held camera would affect me. I get real motion sick from stuff like that. And I didn't leave that one because Colleen was with me, and I knew she liked the movie. And I DID like it! I kept hoping I'd feel better, so I could get into it a little more, LOL!

How about you? Any real clinkers you just had to quit watching?

The only one I can think of was Celebity. It wasn't my choice, my dd really didn't like it. My first hint was when he leaned over and asked if the whole movie was going to be in black and white. I didn't mind it was a odd movie.

You mean your dh? LOL! You had me wondering for a second if I'd read the name right, when you said "my dd". Unless you're hiding a daughter I don't know about, hee hee! That's okay, I figured it out and I know how confusing those acronyms can be.

I have never walked out of a movie and no matter how bad it is I probably would not, unless it got to scary or gave me an uneasy feeling. My friend saw Dracula (not sure which version) and even though the movie did not scare her, she said it felt like an evil presence in the theater and she ended up leaving becuase she had such a bad feeling.

The only movie I have ever turned off was The Wiz, I HATED that movie! There have also been a few films that I rented and lost interest in so I started to do something else, like read a book, but I left the movie in just in case something interesting popped up.
