It's been awhile since anyone posted a review of a movie, (I'm as guilty of that as anyone) so come on, what's the last one you saw, whether in a theater, rented or on tv?

I saw the newest Frankenstein with Robert DeNiro on tv a couple of nights ago. It wasn't too bad. Better than the original, which, at the risk of offending purists, I thought was just dumb, LOL!

HI,

Quick intro. My name is Lori. The last movies I saw were Finding Nemo, loved it although I'm not big on anamated movies. Also rented Legally Blonde 2, pretty bad, liked the first one tho. I don't go the theater much, prefer to wait until the video. The book Mystic River was very good. I hear the movie follows it pretty close.

Hi Eleyne! Welcome to the board! I'm so glad you decided to join us! I saw the first Matrix movie, but neither one of the other two. I hear they're more confusing than the first one, soooo I think I'll pass on them, lol!

I haven't seen Love Actually, yet, but I hope to soon. I like those kind of ensemble kind of movies.

Welcome to the board, Lori! I saw Finding Nemo and loved it, too. But I do like animated movies, LOL! Heck, I like most movies!

I saw the first Legally Blonde and it was better than I thought it would be (lol), so I may rent the second one. But maybe I'll take my time about it, based on your review.

I saw Mystic River over the weekend and it was good, but kind of depressing and dark. ...and a leetle bit too long!

And, as you may have guessed, I'm a theater addict! My favorite way to see a movie is in a big, dark room, with some peanut M&Ms and a Diet Coke (Doesn't the diet soda cancel out the chocolate?), the picture filling my whole field of vision and, ideally, a LOT of room around me! Well, people I know can be around me, but no strangers! (agoraphobia rears its ugly head, lol!)

The main reason I like videos is because I tend to watch a movie 2 or 3 times in a weekend. So if I see it at the theater I will just rent it anyway when it comes out. I do try to see the movies that are Acadamy award possibilities at the theater tho.
