She’s playing Madame Morrible, the crafty headmistress in charge of Oz’s top magic school as part of the national tour of the hit Broadway musical “Wicked,” which has returned to Philadelphia through Aug. 4. The prequel to the classic “Wizard of Oz,” “Wicked” tells the stories of the Wicked Witch of the West, the good witch Glinda and life in Oz before Dorothy blew into town. Madame Morrible is a relatively small part in the show and, though the character carries a certain, ahem, mature brand of glamour, she’s certainly no Reva Shayne. But Zimmer said she has no qualms about playing a woman of a certain age.
I wasn't a fan of Guiding Light, but I am a fan of Kim Zimmer. I think she'll be perfect in Wicked. :)
