No, never tried it. The last time I tried to dye my hair at home was when I was 17 and it was Nice & Easy! Yikes, that was a long time ago LOL!

My birthstone is garnet

Terre, have you tried Color Silk? It's very cheap and it works just as good or better than the expensive brands. I have stubborn greys but they aren't that noticeable. So I just use a lighter color so it looks more natural. And I just explained the alfalfa hair, LOL. I used to pluck until someone told me not to do it cause it just made them wiry when they grew out. Isn't that weird?!

My lips are always dry too.

I love wearing rings too! But only when we go out and I'm dressed up! I have usually 4-5 rings on at once. They are cheap and I get them at Kohl's!

I've never had an ingrown toe nail either. I think it must be genetic. DS only person with one. Nephew has had them too.
I have stubborn greys too! I do my own coloring and I LOVE Color Silk. It's the cheapest and it works just as well as the expensive ones like Loreal, etc. And DON'T PULL the greys! It makes them worse and makes them stick out!!! A lady I worked with once told me that cause I was plucking my greys and she told me that they grow out even worse and it was true!!! They grew out more wavy and stiff and stuck out!! So don't pull them! LOL

I cut my own hair and haven't had a professional cutting in more than 2 years!

I've dyed my hair twice and I'll never do it again. Besides the cost...it's just not me to color my gray. I know what you mean about the alfalfa hair LOL

My lips are always dry...

I've had an ingrown one other time (my left foot) and it's just a pain in the &*^. I do try to cut my nails straight across but sometimes skin grows into the nail and I have to dig deep and cut it. Apparently I cut too much and exposed an open area which caused the infection. Sigh...

My hair is wavy, curly and kinky - argh! It's short now (not too short) and is so easy to fix. I let it air dry and then straighten it with a flat iron.

Ewwwww so sorry you had to go thru that! I had to take older DS to the doctor last year for an ingrown big toe nail and it looked like it hurt! But he took it like a strong man! :) Never had one, I'm lucky but now I only cut my nails straight across cause I don't wanna take any chances! LOL

I also hated my curly hair but now I use a flat iron if I want it really straight, but then it looks so thin. And poor DD has my hair and is ruining her hair with blow drying and using a flat iron! But she won't let it go natural. :(

I was a model, for a short time. But becoming a wife, having to get a desk job and motherhood took over my dream. But it's okay. :) I'm happier having kids.

Last night we took the bandage off. OMG, it looks horrible. I almost gagged LOL! DH used to work in a hospital as a surgical assistant so he was fine looking at it. Anyway, it bled a littllel bit and oozed and I had to wash it with soap and water and afterwards we bandaged it again. The pain isn't bad so I'm just taking Advil or Ibuprofen. I thought the pain would be bad since they gave me Vicodin. I wonder if it will be like this when we travel. I sure hope not, because it's
