Yesterday marked 40 years since Young and the Restless premiered. How long have you been watching?

Want to get a peek at what the show was like back in 1973? EW has the episode, exclusively:

If you can get past the wardrobe, what do you think?

Talk about flash from the past! I used to sit by my grandmother and play with my Barbies while she watched The Young and Restless. She would sit and make comments about the characters and really get into it.

I remember similar. Any time I'd visit her during the day she'd be watching it. LOL

I used to watch the YOTR back in the 80s and 90s although it's been years. I'm so tired of the afternoon talk shows, need to start watching it again. How do I even know what's going on? I loved the clip, that was just awful!

I'm tired of all the talk as well. :/ I wasn't a Y&R fan, but I used to LOVE DOOL!
