We gave up HBO (and all the other movie channels) and thought for sure I'd be sad missing TB, but what I'm reading about the show is horrendous so I'm really not that sad. Anyone else?

Nope. I'm not missing it either. It's gone down hill and fast. But then, so did the books.

I need to STOP watching it. You're not missing much. Bad storylines, killing off main characters. Not like the books at all, which is no surprise, but not any better by any means.

I LIKE "True Blood," well, 'like' is probably more accurate about how I feel about it.

I appreciate that Sookie is smarter in the tv show. I like very much that the show is all about Sookie's family, friends and her small town, not just Sookie, like the books. I like that the television show is a little about race, addiction and income disparity, which I missed from the books.

The characters that are being killed off, that shows how very dangerous the world of "True Blood" is.

My 2 cents, Julia

We too gave up all movie channels. I don't miss them at all.
