I didn't care for this movie. I thought it was supposed to be funny — Kristen Wiig, Ben Stiller... but it wasn't. :( It wasn't a bad movie though. A million times better than Envy, lol, but still maybe because I wasn't expecting what I saw.

It did have beautiful scenery and the ending was perfect.

Anyone else see it?

I thought it had a good tone, but I agree, it definitely wasn't a comedy. I thought it was going to be one as well.

Have you seen the Danny Kaye version of the movie with the same name? It came out in the '50s, I think, and is a hoot!

Have you read the James Thurber's short story, published originally in The New Yorker, also with that name? It's laugh out loud funny.

From the commercials, I could tell it had little to do with the source material, which is sometimes fine. I just hope they paid the Thurber estate plenty and re-released the short story!

I have not seen this one yet but I too thought it was a comedy based on the commercials of his daydreaming.
