Army Wives Question

I am new to Army Wives. My sister was watching when I called her Sunday and she got me watching it. After talking to her, I watched episode 1-season 1 online and was going to watch the whole season before watching season 2, but they lifetime took it off their site (darn them!). But, I watched episode 1-season 2 anyway. Hopefully I can get the season 1 DVD soon. There are too many holes for me.

I can't believe I never watched this show before. I love it. I think Roxy is my favorite. I love how she married Trevor after only knowing him 3 days because he knew they were soul mates. My DH and I were discussing marriage after only knowing each other 3 days. We've been married for 5 1/2 years now. I agree w/ the other posters about Joan. It just seemed strange to me that she could tell Roland,"I want you," and then just carry about her business. Don't know if the character or the actress, but she just doesn't seem to show the right emotion. She seems kind of cold,KWIM. And, she smiles while talking about serious issues. What's up w/ that? I totally cried when it was revealed that Amanda died. I love how mom and daughter had a sort of telepathic communication w/ each other. Claudia Joy telling Amanda that she could do it, and then Amanda telling her mom to go on because dad and little sis needed her.

Anyways, enough of my ramblings. My question is this:at the beginning of the episode, Joan said that 4 people had died. Who else besides Amanda and Marilyn? Did I miss something or did they even reveal it?

Thanks for replying so fast. Now that I think about it, it makes sense that the other 2 would be Marilyn's husband and boyfriend. My DH works graveyard and hinted that he would buy me the DVD of season 1 in the morning. We'll see.

I've never purchased DVD sets of shows I watch, but I think this will change with Deadliest Catch (hey.. once you've gone to Dutch and met these guys you can't NOT be a fan for life, ya know?) and Army Wives.
