Has anyone read any of her other series?

I just finished "Sweet and Deadly"

I wasn't impressed AT ALL. It was slow, dull and just blah. NOTHING near as good as the sookie series.

I have the next one in the 'series' which isnt exactly a 'series' I don't think ( A secret Rage) It seems to be a totaly different story.. just the same TYPE of book (a mystery)

Has anyone else read these? what did you think?

What do you think of her other books?

Which ones would you reccomend?

LOL Thanks Kelli. I'd been planning on reading them for a long time. Just now got around to it.

I just started reading Sookie's series also (I guess I'm slow too ;) I'm loving the books. I'm on the 4th book.

I'm halfway through Sweet and Deadly and found it pretty dull. Having a hard time getting into it and have read a few other books since the first half of that one. I like the Aurora series; the Lily Bard series isn't that great, pretty dry; and the Harper series is really interesting. I'd say Sookie series are the best of the bunch with Harper after that.

Another author worth checking out is Mary Janice Davidson and the Undead series. It's about a vampire queen with special powers. Lots of humor and action with a dash of romance and horror! I love just about every book she has out. She also has a series about a mermaid and one about werewolves. Love her!

For chick lit, I love Sophie Kinsella! She did Shopaholic, Undomestic Goddess, and (most recently) Twenties Girl! All of them a super sweet, funny, and great reads! The last one even has a touch of the supernatural since one of the leads is a ghost! =)

I really liked the first two of the Harper books - love the idea behind the stories - but the third book started to feel like a repeat of the first two to me.

I've not ready those 2 yet, but I did read all of the Harper Connelly series which was great I thought! And I'm currently on book #6 of the Aurora Teagarden series. Some of them can be a bit slow, but they are still good mysteries to read. "Roe" is a funny character.

I'll read the Lily Bard "Shakespeare" series next, just because I love Charlaine Harris lol. There are only 5 books in that series. She's not writing anymore for either the Aurora Teagarden or Lily Bard series. But there should be one more (it may already be out) in the Harper Connelly series.

I haven't read any of her other books, but I have the first 3 in her "Harper Connelly" series. A friend of mine (who LOVES the Sookie Stackhouse series) highly recommended the Harper series to me. Now I just need to make time to read them!
