I was really looking forward to a sobfest last night. The episode was so unmoving. I think they could of done a better job at killing the guy off.

I don't know. I think it fit the 'feel' of the show. There was definitely emotion there, but they had to do their jobs too. I was surprised though that they didn't seem more mad at him for not cleaning his gun. Is there a new actor coming in?

I was disappointed too. I didn't feel all that sad when he died. I've watched other shows where main characters were killed off and the episodes were so tear jerking that I still get choked up thinking about it.

In real life would his friends be doing the investigation and autopsy? I would think that they would try to get someone who did not know him as well but of course that wouldn't make for as interesting of a show.

Does anyone know why he decided to leave the show? I was hoping it was gonna be the blond knocked off.I didn't care for her or her acting.

I guess it depends on individual perspective because I felt that the show was very moving and appropriate. The only thing that I felt was far fetched was that the regular mortician performed the autopsy but then again, who knows how it's really done. I felt that Horatio displayed emotion- he is the head CSI afterall so he had to put some of it aside to do the job. The blond gal- who I happen to like and I think she does a good job of acting (again, individual perspective)- was upset with him but I liked how she honored his memory by keeping the condition of the gun out of her report- that seemed realistic to me as a friend would probably do that.

Rory Cochrane left the show to persue his movie career with more focus- he started off in the movies (Dazed and Confused and Empire Records). He is being replaced by an actor named Jonathan Togo- link to his pic here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1057047/

Jonathan will make his first appearance this Monday so it will be interesting to see how his character fits in with the rest of the characters.

I'm a CSI (all of them) junkie. LOL
