Do you watch cooking shows? (m)

If you do, have you ever tried making something you saw on there?
I enjoy watching cooking shows, but I can't seem to find any that truly make "easy to make" things. I am cooking challenged. I would like to be able to start making more things, but need it to be a) fast (my husband and I both work) and b) EASY!

I need fast and with as little ingredients as possible since I'll screw it up otherwise! LOL! Seriously. I am cooking challenged and would like to change it - at least a little bit. I like things that are easy to follow and tend to use stuff you always have in the house. I dislike when you have to do 100 things to achieve a dish or buy 100 things you normally wouldn't buy (that defeats my frugal by cooking at home idea! LOL).
I think I'll check out Rachael Ray..

I have watched some of them... I have a weakness for Iron Chef - the original Japanese version LOL!
I love the foodnetwork! I've made several things from Rachel Ray, however, I don't use all her ingredients, lol. I use what I have on hand & it works out just the same. ;o)
I'm also a fan of the original Iron Chef... some of the stuff they make looks gross, but I still like to watch them work. ;o)

You only think "some" of it looks gross?
LOL... ok, so all of it looks gross... but you're right, they have some awesome skills. They did one show using octopus... and I was pregnant at the time & I couldn't watch it, lol... for some reason seeing the legs with the suction cup looking things floating in the water just made me sick! LOL
What.. you don't like fish ice cream??? LMBO!
