Who's popping the champagne in Hollywood right now? Anyone who works on Netflix's House of Cards, and HBO's Game of Thrones, and FX's American Horror Story: Asylum -- all of which received scads of Emmy nominations on Thursday morning.

I really don't watch any of those shows, though I am familiar with them. I'm always happy for Jim Parsons. And now Mayim?! Woo Hoo for SHAMY!!!

Any snubs or surprises for you guys?

Just on a whim my husband and I decided to check out House of Cards and absolutely loved it so I am very happy to see it get nominated. It really is one of the best shows I have seen in a long time and I loved the way it was delivered (all in one bunch so you can watch a whole season whenever you want).

I don't watch any of those series either, we don't have Netflix or HBO, and American Horror is just too scary for me! I'm not really surprised by any of the other nominations, seems to be pretty much the same. I'm happy for Dot Marie Jones from Glee, her abuse storyline was really heartbreaking and she did a wonderful job with it.

Gosh, I'm not familiar with any of those shows!  I've never even heard of House of Cards either, but I'm going to check it out for sure now.  Like Melissa, I was excited to see the nomination for Dot.  She did a great job with her storyline this past season.
