That was a great way of taking Romano off the show. Sad, but perfect. Especially how people would periodically wonder where he was and then in the last scene you see them lifting the helicopter & looking to see what was underneath. He did a great job in his role, but I think his character's meanness got kind of old.

I also liked how they had that 1 Doctor's(name escapes me) ex-husband seem like he died & then it was cool the way he suddenly showed up, and then he ends up having injured his spleen & almost dies. My 1 question because I seem to have missed something - does she want to be with him or not? Did she realize something special when she thought he died?

I also liked that brief moment with Carter at the end. Looks like he isn't find what he thought he would.

It seemed like Susan wasn't sure of her feelings towards her ex-husband. But when she thought he was dead she realized how much she does care for him.

I had heard in advance that Dr. Ramono would be killed in a helicopter accident. When he didn't go near the helicopter I figured my sources were wrong. They did a good job with the crash and how it ended up.

It was hard to tell what Carter was thinking or going through.

I have to admit that I thought it was mighty funny that they killed Romano that way. Must have just caught my funny bone just right. I think he was a great actor though because I really hated his character so I hope to see him in something else.

And I loved the fact that Abby showed up all the other folks when push came to shove. She just needs to be more sure of herself and she'll make a wonderful doctor.

Just my 2 cents!

I love love love this latest and greatest of ER! So glad that Dr Jerk is off! I loved it last week also when the new nurse grabbed his hand and it ended up in the tampon machine! That was great. I thing for Dr Lewis the thought of Chuch being gone for good was worse than not being with him romantically. Time to move on but not because of a death. Good attention grabber though. I also loved the glimps of Carter at the end! Great one for ER keep em coming!

Why doesn't Dr. Lewis want to be with Church - I missed the part where she must have explained it.

When she knew he would live, she didn't seem to me to be a woman in love, just a woman very much relived that someone special didn't die. But maybe she said something during the part I missed that explains her emotions?

I don't think she ever fully explained her emotions. There was the scene (either this week or the week before), right at the beginning of the show I believe, where they were in bed and he said why don't they make it official again because they weren't going to find anything better (or something like that), and she had this look on her face like she wasn't so sure. Then she mentioned it to Abby (I think) that she was thinking about breaking up with him, but never fully went into it.

Sorry to be so vague, I just can't remember the details of things all that well these days (39+ wks pregnant!).

Dr Lewis told Abby last week that the relationship was at a point where they either split or make a commitment and she said she wasn't so sure about the commitment and was leaning more the other way. (not in those exact words though) I agree she didn't seem like a woman in love, more so a concerned friend when she thought he was dead and found him alive!

I thought it was a great dramatic episode but a bit unrealistic. I think the chances are pretty slim that the same person would be a victim of two different helicopter accidents. Having said that, I'm glad he's gone (assuming he is).

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!! This show just keeps getting better and better! I'm so happy about Carter's new romance, and was SHOCKED about the baby news :o)- I liked him and Abby together and was sad when it ended... but not anymore! AWESOME !!!

I'm hoping that Abby & Luka get back together now, even though I don't think it's gonna happen with Sam now! I liked A&L together too... I just wish Abby would get herself together, which I think is happening now that she is becoming a DR :o)-

It doesn't look like it's gonna be a new show next week, since they usually show previews and didn't tonight! But I can't wait for the next all new show. This is by far my favorite show on TV and it sure does keep getting better!

Michelle :o)
