Grey's

Yes Meredith has no storyline right now and I think it's kind of nice. I was really tired of her and Derrick and their usual drama. Blech! The break from the Alex/Izzie drama and the Teddy/Owen/Christina drama is equally nice.

The new Mark Sloan is interesting, but I'd be surprised if it lasted more than a few episodes. I don't think him and Teddy will work out, they're just too different. Can't any of them date someone who doesn't work at the hospital?

Little Grey... not sure what I think about her right now. I think the blonde is interesting and her attempt to have a spine is interesting. She's definitely less of the annoying intern that she was when she first came aboard. I don't get why she's so hung up on Mark however. It's not like he altered the planetary alignment for her. I think she can do better.

Bailey and the anesthesiologist are so cute together! I so wish they'd had a scene showing her going to the Russian wax girl and freaking out over the "postage stamp" lol.

The Chief's return has been nice. I wonder what they're going to do with his character. They can't just have him dive back into the Chief role without some kind of scandal with Derrick. The Chief is right though, Derrick doesn't have the vision of a Chief. He's just focused on what will make him look good right now, not what will make the hospital look good in 10 or 20 years.

I'm so upset at the subtle hint that something may change with Callie and Arizona. I love them together! Their relationship is happy and healthy and a pleasure to watch, why can't the writers just leave them alone. So what if Arizona doesn't want to have kids. Callie can't seriously hold that against her given what they do all day and the hours they keep. I'll be so unhappy if they break up over that.

Avery with his famous grandfather? Hmmm I thought they'd give him a more interesting back story. I'm not sure what it is, but I think he adds something interesting to the show. I'm curious to see what the writers do with him.
