AHHH, so glad Lost is back on!! That episode was darn near perfection last night. I was so spellbound that it didn't even occur to me to wonder what happened with the raft until they showed the previews for next week, LOL.
So, that guy down there is the same one that Jack saw in the stadium. How many years ago was that, I wonder? Had he been on the island all that time and left for that? He has to be getting supplies somewhere since he was washing dishes and whatnot. So does he have a way to get out of there? Where is all the electricity he's using coming from and the water? And how is all that computer equipment still running and what is it doing? Where is Kate? They said we would see what was in the hatch but I honestly didn't really believe them! So there is this whole entire underground building, basically, with pipes and electricity and they are all living above it and just see an island from above? Wow!
And then, Shannon seeing Walt, dripping wet. The dog even sensed him or else why was he out there in the woods? And then Walt speaking in those strange whispers that The Others use? Very eerie!
Also, the guy in the hatch - maybe he's tied to everyone somehow? We know that he knows Jack, at least. And the numbers are on the hatch that Hurley knows from someone else, so he could have known that guy maybe. I just can't wait, I always get so ticked when the hour is up for the week that I have to wait another week!!
IS IT WEDNESDAY NIGHT AGAIN YET!!!
Very exciting and left us with only more questions. LOVED IT!!

What was that guy's name, Desmond?
Yes, Desmond. Interesting that it means that, for sure. He definitely has something supernatural going on, just like Locke and Walt, if not some of the rest of them. That hatch is extremely magnetic, too, so maybe that is what keeps making radars go out, communications not work and drawing planes/ships/etc to it. Although, the Black Rock was wood. Hmmm.
I really can't wait to see what has happened with the raft. Sawyer being shot and falling in the water, Jin jumping in after him, Michael in the water and the raft on fire? How can they get out of that??
