Ok, the Maryanne story arc is seriously irritating me! I really liked Daphne and Sam together. I knew she was up to something, but it still pissed me off when she showed her true colors. I don't understand what Maryanne is doing and why she's doing it. Plus it seems like she keeps putting the characters I like in mortal peril! Argh! Speaking of which, it seems like the main reason they still have her in the series is to have a bunch of orgies and threaten the main characters.
The other storyline that is irritating me is the FOTS with Jason. I'm bracing myself for what may happen (from the book) and am worried about the effect it may have on Jason's character.
I wonder why Eric wants Lafayette to sell V again. That one has me puzzled. I wonder if he's trying to track the customers to wipe out more vampire drainers.

ITA as well about Maryanne! Is it just to get the sex in the show? This storyline already feels beat to death to me - shivering, black eyes, nakedness - here we go. I loved Tara's line to her about "sorry for not
yeah I think they want to get the bigger V suppliers or something. I am so over the Maryann thing weeks ago. I was so hoping Eggs and Tara would turn and run when they saw her all creepy. Do these people not remember what happens while they are under her "spell" And what is up with Eggs and where they were walking in the woods.
I don't like the Jason storyline either and it does not jive with the book and I am having a hard time dealing with that.

I'm SO RELIEVED to know that most other people find the MaryAnn storyline annoying/boring. I'm SICK OF NEVER GETTING ANSWERS. UGH! I so wanted Daphne to be good, but I knew she must be the pig. :o(
Jason will get caught with the wife and kicked out of the church and back to his old self....at least that's what I hope!

I agree with Daphne. Her eyes were black the first night she walked up on Sam when he was swimming. She had to be evil, no other chance. I like Sam, he deserves something good to happen to him for a change.
The other thing that bothers me is Bill's maker ... did she show up this soon in the books? I didn't think so ... maybe I forgot? And her name was different wasn't it?? I hate when they change names LOL

I haven't watched the episode yet but just wanted to say that I, too, hate the Maryanne storyline and will be so happy when it's over!
Bill's maker is named Lorena so that part is right but I thought it was later too. I'm thinking though when she tried to kill him that it was in Dallas. I can't remember and my brain is fried! :)

Wasn't it in Nashville when Lorena had Bill imprisoned? Bubba was almost killed but was saved at the last minute when they realized it was the King! Aw, I just realized Bubba hasn't been on the show yet. =( And what about the werewolves? I could have sworn it was a werewolve that escorted Sookie through the FOTS church in Dallas. But I might just have the books jumbled in my head. Probably time to reread!
