Didn't the vampire hotel get bombed in the book with the weretiger (whatever his name was)? I definitely wondered why Sookie didn't read his mind before he whipped out the bomb! It's not like they know what she can do.

Guess the only thing left for MaryAnne is a good old fashioned monster mob. Everyone grab a pitchfork and torch; let's do this! =)

I just re-read the 2nd book, but I still might get some of the details wrong.....

What really happened was Godric was surrendering himself to the fellowship and wanted to meet the sun. Godric was not Eric's maker, he seemed to be somewhat of a "rogue" vampire, totally disgusted with his kind and all the horrible things he had done in his life (particularly killing children). Sookie and the others were sent to save Farrell (totally not spelling that right). He was some kind of leader (like how they portrayed Godric in the series). The fellowship planned on having Godric and Farrell meet the sun, with Sookie tied to one of them to burn alive also. I can't remember who rescued Sookie, it must have been Godric? Sorry I don't remember. Anywho, Hugo was the "rat" in the book and to punish him they made him and his vampire girlfriend stay in a room, unable to touch each other. This would drive Hugo insane because he is addicted to having sex with her. She would not be fed, so she would be longing for his blood the entire time. The party was attacked by some fellowship people with guns, Eric took a bullet for Sookie and tricked her into sucking out the bullet, thus ingesting some of his blood to strengthen their bond.

Dear Alan Ball, please get rid of Maryanne. All the fans hate this storyline - clearly you can see this for yourself all over the web in recaps, blogs, postings, etc., excluding a tiny handful. It is not interesting. It is repetitive and tiresome. In fact, this character has become
