Snatched this from Mia's news folder below:

Meet the author behind "True Blood"
Charlaine Harris has written nine Sookie Stackhouse novels, including a new one that's on the New York Times bestseller list.

I have an Amazon $10 GC - going to get the new book ASAP :)

You better get to reading! You're the only one I get to dish about the book with! I can't wait until True Blood starts again! I'll probably be behind everyone though. My mom won't put showtime or hbo back on so I'll have to watch it on surfthechannel. Here's hoping they still post it there!

SOOO, does this mean you won't be one epi ahead (ahem, US of Tara) again with that whole VOD?? Relishing that!!! I know, I need to read it - I'll start tomorrow, I have a break in my "other duties".

My daughter had tried to talk me into reading Twilight forever! It didn't even cross my mind. One of my best friend read them and I laughed at her. What kind of adults like kid's books? I never read Harry Potter, enjoyed the movies though.

I ordered Twilight for her on blu ray from netflix and of course she had just watched it, so I was compelled to not waste money and watched it myself. It was good, not academy award winning, but I kept thinking about the story afterwards (in retrospect it was no where near as good as the book). And Edward is hot... hot, hot, hot. I started reading them a week later and finished all four in a couple weeks. There are some ridiculous parts, but the whole thing about fiction is suspending disbelief. I loved the books. And I have an Edward poster hanging in my closet--one of my presents for mother's day. =)

Ok, half way thru the book. Of course it's awesome! But this is the longest I've gone betwix books so Charlaine really needs to start incl. pie charts or something with all the lineages. I had to really think about who is from where and what in some parts so far! Still not reading the white - no way jose!

In the articles, it did say there'll be more Eric (my Viking lover!).
