You didn't miss anything LOL, it all showed up in the 6th book.. I thought the same thing. BUT ... there is a short story she did that is "Hadley's story" ... on her website under bibliography - she lists all of her short stories and what/who they relate to. The book with Hadley's story is called "Bite" - the story is called "One Word Answer".

http://www.charlaineharris.com/bibliography/bibliog-sookie.html

There are a bunch of short stories she did, one with Sookie and Niall, another with Sookie, Claude & Claudine, and one with Sookie & Amelia...among others. The only one I've actually bought and read is the one with Sookie, Eric & Pam, called "Many Bloody Returns" ... I read the short story in about 20 minutes .. what a waste of money LOL Next time I'm going to grab a starbucks and read the short story sitting in Barnes & Noble .. is that wrong?? ;)

Oh and it goes more into detail throughout the book too, so it will start to make more sense :)

Nope not wrong at all!!!

but what IS wrong is just leaving out HUGE chunks of crap and making me think Ive lost my dang mind!! HOW RUDE!!

I mean it would be FINE to ADDDD to the story in little side stories and such, but JEEZ to just fillet off a hunk of info like that and 'explain back' during the NEXT book?

bad form Charlain... baaaad foorrrmmm. tsk tsk.

anyway, I think I'll do the same with those short stories. Sounds like a good 'rainy day at Barnes and Noble'

I agree, it was very confusing, and then having to piece the story together as the book goes on ... but at least she does explain it further in and not just leave us hanging and wondering and confused!! lol

Glad I'm not the only one who will sit and read a short story at the bookstore without purchasing it LOL I feel like I SHOULD feel guilty .. but ... I don't! ;)

You are not alone if there was something I missed it to.
