Wow - I really liked this group of people. No actors or models. They seem pretty down to earth.

I think the boyfriends team is hysterical. I can't believe they put a flaming couple on. It's not like their just gay. It seems they're quite flamboyant too.

I also like the mother/son team a lot. In fact, I like every team except Rob and Amber. They're so full of themselves. I'll be really mad if they win.

Last season I had a really hard time picking any favorites past Jon & Kris.

I'm really happy about all the teams too!! There are none that are particularly unlikeable, and lots that are quite likeable!!

I LOVE Boston Rob! I hope he and Amber stick around awhile. Conversely, I don't like the son on the mother/son team. He's petty and a little snot. I'd be disappointed if my son acted like that.

Did the smoochy best friend girl team really lie to the POW/beauty queen team and tell them to dig in the sand where there was only a 7:40 flight left? He seemed to think so. Then, in the previews it shows those women callin Rob a liar!

When the yields show up, someone is going to most likely Rob and Amber because they think those two already won a million so should go.

A few minutes into last night's show I commented to DH that there didn't seem to be any aspiring actors or models. That'll be nice for a change. A few minutes later I remembered just how much I dislike Rob. I guess there is just something about his personality that rubs me the wrong way. I felt that way a few weeks into his first Survivor and I guess I still do. Oh well, they'll be interesting to watch. I found it funny how the only goal of the mom and son team seemed to be to beat Rob/Amber. I wonder if they'll have that attitude the whole race.

At this point I don't really have a favorite. I like Meredith and Gretchen (can't help but cheer for the older ones) but can't imagine they'll go too far.

I loved last nights show, so many teams I liked on there. A few annoyed me, the POW/Beauty Queen team I found annoying, how many more times do we have to hear her say they are the "All American Couple?" Blech! Both teams of girls I found a little annoying but can deal with. I wish I could remember all of their names but I can't and I am too lazy to go look them up. Anyway, love the flaming gay guys! They are so funny. I also really enjoyed the country guys that got eliminated last night, I was so sad to see them go already. My daughter and I were cracking up at them getting out and pulling the rickshaw faster and that guys face as he just rode along, that was too hilarious! The mother and son team were okay but that kid was a snot. He's not even really a "kid" isn't he 26 or so? He sure looked and acted like he was 15.

I'm with those who love Rob and Amber. I loved him from the very first episode of Survivor when he showed up with that Boston Red Sox hat on, LOL! He IS quite full of himself and he was bossy on Survivor and I'd hate everything about him in someone else but him, I LOVE him. I hope they go far, although I would rather see someone else win a million over them. I guess if they got into the final 3, it would depend on who was with them whether I wanted them to win or not. It didn't occur to me about people helping them because they knew who they were, either, I'm sure I'd find that to really tick me off if I were racing against them. I did notice that about that girl calling him a liar when she herself (or maybe her team mate) had lied to that other team, too.

I just really wish that the country guys had stayed around awhile longer, I just keep imagining the comedy factor with those two and the gay guys on there together as teams dwindled down and they got more air time. I can't wait to see the gay guys and their little argument with the locals next week, did anyone catch it in the previews where he says, "Bitches!" as he walks out, yet he's talking to mostly men in the place they were at? Cracked me up!!

This season is looking good, if only a team I want to win can pull it off. I got spoiled when Chip and Kim won, I guess, LOL!!

I'm a Boston Rob fan as well! I was so happy to see him on tv last night again. Even DH had to agree that they're pretty smart for continuing to get the tv stations to hand them over paycheck after paycheck. It gets on my nerves that so many teams are against them just because they already won

When I found out Rob and Amber were on this show I was upset. I HATED them on Survivor, he was a liar and minipulator, he PLAYED THE GAME PERFECTLY!!! PERIOD I really wanted them to lose this show but after the snotty blonds and mother/son team started conspiring I got ticked and fopund myself screaming GO ROB AND AMBER!!!! I do NOt want them to win however, they already got a cool Mil, let the oh so cute gentlemenly brothers win this one!! ;)

I liked Ray's comment about how they were all racing around trying to win a million dollers and how the people of Peru were fighting for what little they had and how humbling it really was to him...so different from miss B***H Kendal!!!

Anyway, it's off to an interesting start for sure~

"but after the snotty blonds and mother/son team started conspiring"

Didn't the blonds tell the ex pow & his gf to go to the middle sand pile, which was the one w/ the later time?
