WOOHHO!OOO!! Maggie!!

I was so worried when Howie was the deciding factor--how much did he love THAT? It was fun seeing everyone again.

Kaysar made a valid comment to Jennifer, IMO. She seemed to agree.

Cracked me up that Sarah blamed Maggie for her eviction. Howie didn't HAVE to go with Maggie's choice! Blech.

Ivette looked really upset. I almost felt bad for her. I figured they must have gone over the votes together. Over and over. She must have really thought she had it based on her reaction.

Any other thoughts?

I would have been shocked if Howie had voted for Ivette after her hate speech to Rachel after Rachels eviction. I'm sure she will regret doing that for a long time.

I was surprised that Janelle voted Ivette, I thought it would be a tie and Janelle would be the last one voting and would vote Maggie to let Ivette know that she messed up big time by not choosing her.

As much as I disliked Maggie, she did play the best game, and finally finally after the whole season, she admitted it a little bit at the end., that she stayed out of the spotlight and it was the others that got her where she was. I just would prefer an in your face risk taking player win then someone who plays quietly under the radar.

I was so torn over Ivette, I really wanted her to be taking home the money, but wanted her to come to the realization that she had been played by Maggie to get to the end. She guenuinely looked upset at losing as did her mother.

But best of all, I loved the reception the Jedi got over the friendship, loved that they called April out on her slam on America, and loved that they told them of Kaysars landslide AC victory, and then best of all loved seeing Eric put in his place by the audience trying to slam Kaysar. I thought it was a great finale, and I really hope that Maggie stays true to her friendships now that she has won (but I kinda think she will)

I'm also happy that Maggie won. She and Rachel were my picks during the first show.

Maggie was so smart and played so well. Even though she wasn't winning HOH or vetoes, she was able to influence the others' decisions (heck, I think the biggest turning point in the game was when she got Howie to nominate James and Sarah).

If you really try to put yourself in that house with no books, music, TV, magazines, newspapers, etc., (I don't think they even have pens and paper), and being taped 24/7, it would be so hard to stay focused the entire time when there's nothing else to do but obsess. She never got caught up in the venting/b#$%&ing that went on or in the little catfights. To stay that focused for so long, she must have had one heck of a headache at the end. I know I couldn't have stayed so focused for so long.

When it got to Howie, I was wondering if he voted with Janelle (for Ivette) or with Rachel (for Maggie). I was really worried that Janelle influenced his decision because I think he has a huge crush on her.

This was the best BB ever, so I guess this means there will be another season. Can't wait!

I wonder if Janie and Michael were bothered that Julie didn't call them out to hug in front of everyone like James and Sarah did?

Instead of letting them hug, I wish Julie would have asked Sarah if she saw tapes of the episodes where James was in the diary room criticizing her and putting her down.

My favorite moment of the show was Howie's little speech to Ivette and Maggie at the end saying something like he wished he could vote for America's favorites instead of their least favorites. I still don't really think the "nerd herd" has a clue how few people were cheering for them. I really loved the wild reception all the "sovereign" members got versus that which the "friendship" got.

Ivette looked more angry than sad, IMO. Maggie was an incredibly gracious winner, I think very sensitive to Ivette's loss. If Ivette had won she would have been hollering and leaping around the room. I was impressed with Maggie's composure. She really was a loyal person and considerate of her alliance members. I'm happier that she won than Ivette. But when Julie said "The moment you've been waiting for...right after this break we crown the winner..." I thought "That wasn't the moment I was waiting for". LOL. I really was just interested in seeing the interaction between the houseguests outside the house :)

I didn't watch the whole show (I got out of work late - it's taped, dh and I will likely watch it tonight), but I did see the end. If one of the Jedi's couldn't win, I'd much rather it have been Maggie than Ivette. Maggie was very gracious in her win - unlike Ivette who would have run around screaming like her behind was burning. I'm glad Maggie took home the money (though I really wish itwould have been Janie! LOL)
