Beyonce's spectacular inaugural performance of the national anthem was indeed lip-synched.

I can't believe all the hoopla over this... Ok, big deal.. it was still HER vocals! Preforming with a band you've never had time to rehearse with, on such an historical occassion, in front of the nation.. who could blame her?

If youo are a professional you should not have to lip sync. If for health reasons then there should have been a replacement singer.
I wasn't there live to watch it, so it hardly seems to me it matters one way or another. I enjoyed hearing it when it was broadcast and the fact that they're now saying it was recorded doesn't effect the pleasure I got. So it shouldn't effect the response she gets... at least in my book. It's kind of like enjoying a nice wine, then have some wine snob tell you why you should hate it! LOL
Geeze... people need to get over themselves. She's not the first nor will she be the last. I think she made a choice based on no ability to rehearse with the band before and the importance of the event. It came off beautifully and that's what counts, in the long run. Some people are just always going to find a reason to whine...
