Finally got to watch...

DH taped it for me this week so I watched today in my post Thanksgiving coma.

I was appalled to see the preview of the next show where Jonathan actually pulls back his arm as if to hit her! KNOWING full well that TV cameras are on him. That guy is dangerous and I hope that if she hasn't figured it out by now, seeing herself on TV with him will wake her up to the reality.

And what is with the guy with the devil horn ponytails???? Bwa Ha Ha!

And the guy who left his sunglasses in the boat and totally freaked out on the girl for making him take them off in the first place? Men are such pigs! Granted, he could probably see fine, and she shoulda kept her mouth shut (didn't she know it would embarass him?) Good for her for confronting him at the first chance. THat is so completely something my husband would do...and the reason I won't stay married to him for life!

It never ceases to amaze me that so many of them are travelling through this beautiful world and never say WOW! LOOK AT THAT SCENERY!

I still miss the Mole!

ITA, Susie! One of the reasons I'd never make it on the Amazing Race (Okay, I'd never make it anyway 'cause I'm too fat and lazy! ;o) ) is that I'd want to visit all the places I was going to. When the last place people say 'I had such fun. I got to see some fabulous places', I'm thinking, "What 'see'? You were in the airport, a train station and in a car. The only time you were actually in a landmark you were running around like an idiot doing some stupid task or looking for 'the flag'." I wonder how much down time they really have? There are those times when they have to wait for someplace to open at 9:00am or something. Do you think all they do is sleep and eat or do they do a little sightseeing? There was a couple -- was it last season? -- that took the time to enjoy the places where they were. I remember when they were in Africa and the task was to deliver chairs to a particular home. The family offered them food and cold drinks and they actually sat down on the porch and took the family's hospitality! They are the ONLY team I've seen do something nice like that.

Yea, Jonathan kind of scares me. He is so volatile. It's like he can go off at any second and I'm just waiting for him to go from verbal abuse to something physical.

What's gonna happen to the sunglasses guy and his girlfriend? If she's truly fed up -- if that reaction to the sunglasses is typical of the way he treats her -- will they finish the race or will she say 'No more'?

ITA with you on this one. That's why I liked Chip and Kim. They were in a race for a million dollars, but they NEVER hesitated to take in the view. The things they get to see are AMAZING - hence the name of the show! LOL!

I like the older couple. They got mad at one another, yelled at one another and then quickly apologized with both having tears in their eyes. It's completely understandable to have your emotions get the best of you at times, but to not apologize for hurting the other person? :( It's sad.

I can't stand Jonathan - and to think we thought COLIN was bad! HA! Colin has nothing on this this guy. He's a complete JERK.

I truly love this show and look forward to it every week.
