Anyone watching it?
Of course I'm watching!!!!!
I absolutely love Hell's Kitchen and I have to watch the food cravings, too!
So what do you think about this season's group of contestants? The men may have won both team challenges so far, but they sure seem to fall apart rather quickly during service.
I wondered about Jason, too... before, when a contestant had to leave like that, they'd give some sort of update; maybe we'll find out later.
What I wonder is... don't any of these people watch the previous seasons before the come on? You'd think they'd at least do it for research... then they'd know not to do really stupid things like yell over Ramsey when he's calling out orders at the pass -- or lying to him about serving fish cooked 10 minutes earlier! Bye bye Brendan... really, really idiotic move on your part! LOL
And chick with the attitude and mouth... Elise, I think her name is; she's the female counter-part of Brendan. She was really out of control on the meat grilling challenge. I can see diva is written all over that girl.
I missed most of the first episode.
I think Kitchen Nightmares was a hour long weekly series with Chef Ramsey going to a restaurant, finding out what was wrong, telling the owner how to fix it, helping the owner fix it, and leaving.
Just an FYI... you can catch up on the episodes of Hell's Kitchen at fox.com; the new ones come out the day after they air on TV. :smileywink:
Big fan of Kitchen Nightmares, too. The first show I ever watched Gordon Ramsey in was one on BBCA called Boiling Point... or Ramsey's Boiling Point, I never can remember which it was.
Got too busy for a bit to come back and talk about the show but has anyone chosen a few favorites yet?
At this point, I find myself focusing more on who I don't like rather than who I do like! LOL I definitely think Elsie and Carrie both need to go; their bickering and outright hatred of one another is totally distracting to the women's team. And after Elizabeth's screw up with the information on what the reunion committee members wanted on the menu was painful to watch... how the heck do you confuse Hawiian dishes with Asian... and to ignore the fact that one member said she's a pescetarian and eats fish but not meat was jaw-dropping! The only thing that saved Elizabeth was the fact that the guys, once again, fell apart at dinner service.
What is it with the men's team? They're winning all the challenges but when it comes to dinner service, they're just losing it!
