Anyone watching MasterChef?

I love watching the cooking competition shows, but I can't say that I'd ever want to be on one. I can't imagine standing there for an hour and a half peeling and slicing apples -- And Gordon would probably have a stroke if I asked for a stool! LOL

I agree with you that Tony should have adjusted his attitude toward working with Max; he should have been wise enough to know when to go with the flow, especially in a competition. But I'm also kinda thinking that as annoying as Max comes across on camera, he has to be twenty times worse in person and maybe that put Tony's hackles up. I think in this type of competition, you not only have to excell at cooking, you have to have some pretty heavy duty people skills to survive intact.

I like Christian and Christine so far, too. The one that intrigues me the most though is Derrick. I think he may have a few surprises up his sleeve.

Gosh, some of those lamb dishes looked delicious and that espresso chocolate flourless cake made my mouth water!

Arghhh! I was so hoping that smug little piece of work, Max, would be the one booted off. I'm just so tired of seeing that gloating smirk on his face every time someone messes up. I couldn't help but giggle at Ramsey's comment to Max about his dessert...what was it he said... "It's like I've just gone to the doctors and got a skin graft on my butt - and stuck it in caramel." LMBO... And just

I just finished catching up on the last episode, the Top 14 Compete and I'm almost speechless! LOL

Boy, when she was chosen as one of the red team's weakest cooks was Christine mad was or was she red-hot livid? LOL If I was Esther, I'd be walking softly around that lady in a kitchen full of knives!

  • Yay to Max getting the boot! Right now, Suzy is the only diva left, but chances are, as the competition narrows down, I'm thinking a couple of more may show their faces.

I was shocked that Esther threw Christine under the bus like that.

The vegetarian challenge did seem hard. Vegetarians are always fighting to prove their cuisine is more than just salad and considering there's more of them chefs have to know how to accommodate them. The look on Suzy's face was priceless when she realized she wasn't in the top 3. When is she going to realize that she's the only one that thinks shes better than everyone lol.

I can't believe Esther said she never cooks fish. Fish is common all over the world isn't it? How is it that she has this huge passion for cooking, yet never cooks something that the average family eats at least once a week?

That coleslaw was brutal. I've never made it, but even I know there's everything but the kitchen sink in it. I was surprised Alejandra did so poorly with it though. I figured of all of them she'd be one of the top contenders.
