Staged Ending for Amazing Race?

Did anyone else think that the ending was maybe staged? Not that Chip and Kim won and their great run to the winning platform, but Colin and Christie's entrance. DH and I were both waiting to see Colin lose it when he realized they were second -- either when he saw C&K's car already there or when they saw them already on the platform. Both C&C had smiles on their faces and weren't saying anything as they were running to the platform and it just seemed so out of character for both of them. And then they were nice to C&K. I'm wondering if it was really more volatile and Mark Burnett had them film it again so it looked more pleasant for an ending?
That's my 'conspiracy theory'!! ;o)

I'm sure they were disappointed to be second, but I've seen past teams (who were ugly during the race) be polite, smile and nice by the end. They're probably relieved it's over!

C&C had a flat tire on their "super fast cab" and had to wait for another cab to pick them up to take them to the finish line. (guess there is a reason we are not supposed to drive on the shoulder!) They arrived 1 hour AFTER C&K!! So by then, maybe they had time to let it all sink in and put on a happy face for the cameras.
I also read that Allison was not at the finals - there was a stand in clapping beside Donny! Kinda funny, I thought!

Do you know if there is an official time listing of when each team arrived? I find it hard to beleive that C&C arrived an HOUR later...Phil was still asking C&K about their time during the race. Now, unless THAT part was staged. You know, everyone taking a break, waiting for the next team, and maybe the cameraman called ahead, so it was "places everyone!" type thing. It could of been an hour, so I tak emy previous staement back, because if you remember, C&C were just arriving at the maze when C&K were leaving heading to the pit stop. I think it took C&C a long time to get through that maze, and because of editing, it seemed like minutes. It could of very well been well over an hour. And hour goes by pretty darn quick, so yes, and hour does sound about right, given where C&C were in the game.
So, then after all that, then yes, I think my scenerio could of been right. Instead of everybody satnding in none spto waiting, they took a break, chatted, probably had a smorgasbord(sp?) of food..and then when they got the call they were coming...in the words of David Alan Greer on Life with Bonnie
In the lead for the majority of the race, Colin and Christy won six of the show's stages, but they finished second at the end after getting yielded, being held up at the Denver airport and having a flat tire on a cab ride.
Even with those setbacks, they were still incredibly close to the million-dollar prize.
"We came in only about 10 minutes behind Chip and Kim, even with the delayed flights, and what they didn't show was that we had a flat tire on the side of the road," Christie said. "If it had only been the delayed flight, we may have been able to catch up, but we kind of accepted it when we got the flat tire.
"Coming in so much later than Chip and Kim, we realized that one, we could not make any mistakes and two, we could not have any bad luck. We figured we'd be forty-five minutes behind. We didn't realize we'd end up coming that close."
This guy met her at the wrap party for BB5 -There is a picture of him with her and here is what he said about her:
As for Donny, she restricts her contact with him to text messages. She also confirmed that she did NOT participate in the finale of Amazing Race 5 (the finish line scene). If you look closely at the final scene, a brief close-up shows Donny and a woman who looks like Ali. I asked Ali if she watched Tuesday's AR finale (she didn't) -- she also wasn't aware the AR producers had used a stand-in for her!
Interesting ;)
