Yes, I started boohooing as soon as they showed her start crying! Then I got myself together and lost it again when Robert went into the diary room and started crying. It was so sweet!

If Robert does win I hope it's because of his daughter. In my opinion he doesn't deserve it otherwise. He seems like such a jerk to the opposite sex & I hope he realizes how horrible he sounds when he talks about women that way. I hope he also realizes that someday his daughter will be a woman & wouldn't want any man to talk about her that way!

I know, I teared up too when I saw her crying! And I even can't stand Robert, but his little girl is adorable - although why was he calling her mama? That was kind of weird! Oh, and I also cried like a baby when Ali won the veto! Why, why, why????????????????

I was balling. Yesterday was my anniversary and DH and I watched when we got in from going out. I guess it's because we're parents that it touches us so much. I totally agree that I wouldn't be so upset if he won just because of that little cutie.

I'm guessing he calls her mama because in some ways she takes care of him and it's a term of endearment between them?

It's nice to see a guy take so much interest in his daughter. You can see how much he loves and misses her.

I also don't like Robert but at least he would spend the money wisely (on his daughter IMHO). Or at least better than the other 3.

He called her Mama because that is a very common term of endearment for young girls in the Cuban community. I grew up in Miami, FL (where there is a large Cuban community) and heard it all the time.
