Power Packed Popcorn Cookies

Lightly spray cookie sheets

In a bowl:
1 stick of butter or margarine
1 egg
1 cup brown sugar
2 teaspoon baking powder
half teaspoon baking soda
half teaspoon salt
Stir this
Next add:
1\4 cup whole wheat or all purpose flour
half cup oatmeal
1 cup toasted wheat germ
half cup coconut
1 cup dried fruit,or raisins, or cranberries
half cup of nuts, or sunflower or any nut
you may like Or you may delete them..
3 cups of popped popcorn
Preheat oven to 350*
Mix until well blended
Now drop by round teaspoons onto baked sprayed
cookie sheets 2 inch apart they spread.. * I wet my hands for this part.
Bake 350 - 7- 8 minutes or until edges are nicely browned.
Allow to cool on pan for a few minutes before
removing them.

OH, I have a stash of mashed taters in my fridge that I need to do something with...I always cook more than I can eat! You should move down here with me, we could cook and you could see your grand-nephew everyday! A dream, I know.

My favorite is a sweet, Lemon poppyseed cake.  I asked my husband and although it not really a recipe its a meal he likes Chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy.  Add potatoes to any dish and he's in heaven.

My mother's recipe for Butter Tarts. My whole family would probably say the same thing.

Impossible to choose!  But I admit to making an inordinate amount of chili.

How can you choose just one? I have a ton of favorites that I cook throughout the year.

The one favorite recipe that DH cooks for me is definitely Balsamic Vinegar Chicken with Almonds and Peppers from Cooking Light. Love those flavors!
