Ive been working on mine. This morning at the grocery, I actually bought my ham. I had looked through all of the spiral hams and the biggest I found was an 11 pounder. In another area though, they had 1 whole ham, bone in. So I bought him. He's a 17 pounder and a heck of a lot cheaper, and im sure will taste better. Most of our menu is done. Nothing fancy, just simple. Ham, turkey breast, dressing, mashed taters, gravy, yams, corn, green beans, noodles, rolls, and deviled eggs. Not sure on desserts. We have the same thing each year, but rarely have left overs. Our troop keeps growing! I cant wait!

We have done prime rib & twice-baked potatoes for the last several years now, so that is tradition.

We have 3 little ones at our holiday table, so the macaroni and cheese is a given.

I always add regular frozen corn to the creamed corn, whether it is frozen or canned.

I'm not making any whole dinners, but parts of two.

We'll be looking for your advice on boiling eggs come Easter; you should be a master by then!

I laughed when you said you always contribute deviled eggs. Same here! I guess no one else wants to do it, or mine actually taste pretty darn good, lol!

That IS funny, I always get asked for the eggs, and I can't EAT eggs...so it's kinda weird but maybe it is one of those little things that intimidates people!
