I'm going to use this recipe this week!! I bet it would be good wtih biscuits and gravy also. And the cinnamon roll idea, DD6 will LOVE it, I'm sure. You know, the regular cinnamon rolls I make I use regular sugar, I just bet it would be much better with brown sugar. Definitely going to try that the next time I make them!!

I'm going to try these tonight. I don't have buttermilk, so I'm going to use regular milk w/o soda. But, in the future, could I use the alternate to buttermilk....milk and vinegar? Or would that work in this recipe? I've used that alternate before and it's worked.

Milk and vinegar will work, leave the soda in it. It's the acid that makes the soda work.

Success!!! Everyone loved them, and as I type this DD3 is eating a biscuit with her cereal for breakfast...lol. DH said, wow, these are really good...are you amking bicuits and gravy this weekend?? And DD6 ate THREE. That is a HUGE deal for her, she is the super picky one. I'm easy to please, but this recipe is definitely a keeper! DD6 said she wanted them again tonight.

I'm thinking about making DH breakfast sandwiches on these too. I usually use a fried egg, sausage patty and busciuts from the rolls, I make them up and DH takes them to work and eats them in the morning before working. I'd just have to make them a little bigger.

A BIG thank you Karen!!!!

Ohh.....BACON!!! It's a favorite in my house. And the girls love cheese, so that would be a hit also. I'm going to try the quick cinnamon rolls this coming week too.

You can use a fork, or two knives, or even rub the fat in with your fingers (I don't recommend that, it heats the fat).
