The world is supposed to end in a few hours, but my microwave has left the planet early.

I paid $75 for my kitchen aid at the thrift store! It looked like it had barely been used. I should use it more than I do, but we do love making pasta with it. We want to get the sausage attachment for it.

I mostly use my microwave for reheating or cooking frozen veggies, but I do have the best recipe for a cinnamon nut brittle that is microwaved -- love it!!

I had just written a nice long reply...and poof, gone!!

Anyway....My MIL gave us our first micro in 1994, and I just replaced it last summer.

You can't beat a blender for baby food.

I have 2 kitchenaides 1 was my mom's it's about as old as me, the other 1 my MIL got as a 30yr gift from her job. I sill want the pasta attachment and the ice cream maker. The down side is the ice cream maker will not work with mom's as it's to old. I still have a food processor(kitchenaide brand), can't make baby food with the kitchenaide. I have to pick up a new small strainer as mine go a hole in it when we moved, I didnt pack the kitchen stuff.

I think these are one the best things you can buy. the one that's over 30yrs old has never been worked on and still runs like a dream.

According to most Christians, as will I. I however believe that I will go to the Summerlands to await my reincarnation. We'll see. Figure out what you're gonna do microwave wise?
