Use vegetable oil when removing a lable off a bottle.  Once the oil has penetrated the label, rub with sponge or rag & it will come off easily.  Then wash the oil off.

I have never tried the oil for stick labels.. But I use peanut butter and that is one thing that works for me.. Besides it taste great..

Thanks for the tip, I hate it when lables stick! Baking soda is my go to cleaner in the kitchen, cheap and works well.

Did you know that rubbing mayonnaise on a bumper sticker will take it off?  LOL, it is mostly oil anyway.
