Here is a link to make your own poultry seasoning. Any chance you or your MIL has these combos of spices around? I know I dont have the marjoram..i have no idea what that is, lol. Just an idea though!

*Ha! I posted this then like 20 minutes later it dawns on me that I didnt post the link. Sheesh!!

The white shoepeg is smaller, more delicate and in my opinion sweeter.

My mom made cream style corn with a little sugar and cream, lots of stirring, and it was hard to keep it from breaking down.

Thank you Christina!!!! That sounds pretty simple, I don't have marjoram or rosemary, but maybe my MIL does, I'm going to ask her.

Don't you just love the allrecipes site??? I have gotten some great recipes from there, and I've only been looking there for a couple of months.

I haven't bought the frozen creamed corn in a while. I usually throw a few hands full of yellow corm in with it to make it go further & thicken it up a bit.
I hated reamed corn as a kid. My mom & oldest brother always mixed their mashed potatoes & creamed corn together & although I wasn't as anal about my food not touching as my other brother, it grossed me out when they did that.
