do you have any great recipes without pasta in them?
Additional challenge...
do you have any without canned cream-o soup OR pasta?

Oh my gosh, I fail!!

LOL, someone I know asked me for pasta-less casseroles, and I'm tossing in the "no cream-0" because it is not good if you are watching what you eat.
One is what DH named "cowboy pork chop', the original recipe is a skillet dish, but I make it in the oven often. Saute some chopped onions (& bell peppers, if you like) brown the chops, seasoned with S&P or whatever you want. Mix some BBQ sauce with ranch style beans, pour over the chops, either in the pan or a baking dish. Finish on the stove or in the oven at 350.
The other one came off a Stove Top stuffing box...I think it was called Chicken brushcetta, but my DS said it tasted like "Chicken Basagna" when he was little, so that's what we called it. I haven't made it in a while so I can't quite remember it all...Cut chicken into bite size pieces, mix the stuffing mix with canned diced tomatoes & chicken broth (I think there was broth...) sprinkle with mozzarella & bake. Simple...could be missing a few things, but that is the gist of it & it was good!
Your post reminded me of a casserole I like; actually it is more of a skillet dinner.
Could you post the cabbage roll recipe, please?
Cabbage rolls were a FAVORITE in my restaurants.
That recipe looks good, & very different than the one I had. The one I had was just beef & used canned tomato soup for the tomato portion. I got is from a co-worker who got it from her DH ex-wife.
I bought some sausage with bacon the other day, haven't tried it yet, but that might be good in this recipe....
Amazing things for the system is right, LOL,
