Okay, so the bread didn't turn out. It didn't seem to rise, I wasn't sure if my yeast was bad...it shouldn't have been. And it seemed really thin...it rose a bit when it started to cook, but never cooked all the way through. It was raw in the middle on top. Then it seemed too dense, and the taste too strong. Like there was too much ginger. Not sure if it was something I did, or my machine didn't do something right. I have the recipe to my niece and will report if she makes the regular version.

HMMMM...there is probably a flaw in the recipe.
My pineapple juice was room temp.

You are right, the juice should not be cold.
One thing I noticed about the recipe is that the yeast doesn't go into a warm environment.
I never knew that flour could go flat!
