This has nothing to do with food (well....I guess it could) but we want to know...

What’s the most annoying/irritating quirk you discovered about your partner after moving in together?

As a teacher, my husband gets sick a LOT in the winter. He takes a lot of those cold capsules, but never (I mean EVER) throws the empty ones away. He just leaves them all over - the kitchen counter, the dinner table, the bathroom, his night stand. I don't understand his inability to throw them away, but I eventually started collecting them. One day I put them under the sheets all over his side of the bed so he got a little surprise when he got into bed that night. He's been a little better about throwing them away since then.

My DH doens't know how to put anything in the trash. He'll leave it on the counter above the trash can, but won't acutally put it INTO it!

Frustrating!

Mine will leave bottles in the sink that need to be recycled instead of putting them 5 feet away in the recycling bin. I keep telling him that 1) they don't need to be cleaned out anymore and 2) if they did need to be cleaned, he could just do it - I'm not the chief bottle cleaner.

Well after 42 years you get used to anything, but I think what still bugs me is when I am trying to read or watch a program and he just has to keep talking. One of these days when he is in the middle of a very exciting football game or whatever I am going to have a very long speech to give.
