I'm with you, I probably eat that and more just for breakfast. We all eat a big breakfast here, it's just better and then I don't get a sugar low if I eat lunch a bit late. And both my DD's like a big breakfst, we probably eat more than at dinner most days. My niece has lost a lot, but it's not something I could do. I asked her waht she did for exercise on the dirt, but she said that she was so low on energy the first couple of weeks, she couldn't do much of anything. Doesn't make sense to me.

So true, starving yourself is just WRONG.

No, not 550 -- 500!! So ridiculous & unhealthy. You need to learn to eat right if you are going to lose it for good, not how to starve yourself. I wouldn't have enough energy to feed myself on 500 calories!

I have kind of dieted. First many yeas ago when I found out I was diabetic. Just cutting back on sugar and fat I lost 30 pounds quickly. When I REALLY want to lose, it's easy for me. Most of the time though, I like eating too much to really be strict with myself. Then when I was preggo with my oldest DD, I found out about carbs. I should have been watching those all along instead of sugar and fat. I was 10 lbs less after having my second DD, she took a lot out of me! lol Then, I kept it off by nursing. I put it back on though, but I'm pretty sure I've lost a few of those this summer. I'm hoping to keep them off. I'd love to be 30 punds lighter, but I'm okay where I am now. I wouldn't do any fad dieting, they're not for a diabetic anyway.

My niece in law though, did the HCG diet. She probably was about 150 overweight. She's lost 60 so far, it's really worked for her. But 500 calories a day? Not for me!!!

Have you ever looked at the nutrition tools at Calorie Count?

I lost almost 60 lbs with WW a few years ago, then went through some really stressful times & quit working the program, gradually gaining about half of it back. I am not happy with what I have allowed myself to do & really need to get back to it!! I love WW 'cuz it is so flexible!
