what kind of flour did you use for the pie crust.......thats something I have had no luck with, did you use shortening,butter or margarine???????? baking weather is almost over with where I live but gosh darn I would like to give home made pie crust another one of my best efforts. Mom threw a slice of bacon in just about everything.
That is how my mom always made them, or even with bacon pieces in it, only way she got my DH to eat them too.
There's just not much better than green beans with bacon drippings!
