This is very interesting...I got most of them right, but had to think of pricing in the "big town" rather than my little village..lol.

I got 7 out of 10. Some of the things on there I don't buy, most notably beer, so I had no clue what it would be.

Beer, T-bone steaks, Oreo's (must resist, must resist) and something else. I got the Oreo one right I think, it was a lucky guess. Just not stuff on my regular list :)

I got the Oreo one wrong too, they are $4.99 at my local store! But I buy the Wal Mart brand ones, they are actually BETTER and here they are $2.28!! Choco chip cookies, crunchy or soft are $1.98.

Well the prices they are using are an average price not real pricing for your area. A gallon of milk where I live is over $4.89 a gallon. I buy at Sam's club and get it for $3.78. Ialso found manyof the prices that we spend are not the right price but guess what I buy many of the things listed and I only got 5 right.

Boy am I glad that I don't have to buy groceries where they do.... LOL,,,,we don't even have an 8pk of cola....ours come in 6 or 12 pks and all our cans are 12oz.... I figured what it was per oz and we pay less than at that store...

I know our meat costs less here....

Amen! Did you see Bob's post on Curious Chef? He's on a $100 per month grocery budget, looking for ideas.

If I remember right, that is about what a gallon of milk is in my little town. And my DH can drink a gallon in less than a day.
