what ever you do don't throw it away - Cheese can be used anyway.. Its just as that freezing makes it different.. I love chicken and cheese.. Reminds me here that my daughter will be making stomboli, and I will need some cheese for it..
I have found them at one store here locally, but they aren't nearly as good at the ones we can get on the coast. There are a lot of daries, and a few really good cheese factories. I took a tour with my mom of the Bandon Cheese Factory, SO GOOD!! It's since closed, and that is such a bummer! But we still have Tillamook and Eberhard's, good ones also.
I can't eat it plain, and when I let the girls try it, well, there were some silly faces...lol. I'm going to plan on trying a new cheese this next month. One of the stores I shop at sometimes has a great cheese section, so I'm anxious to try something new! I got a request for smoked cheddar from DD7, it's one of her favorites. That and cheese curds! Here in Oregon, on the coast, you can get some of theBEST fresh cheese curds!! They are SO good.
that's the usual around here too!! Lol But, real swiss is hard to just munch on plain. Chedar on the other hand, or colby, jack...those get eaten right away.

I've heard about cheese curds, but never had any.
