I didn't share this one, because it didn't happen at Thanksgiving, but one time I

cooked a huge turkey in one of those disposable aluminum foil pans. I went

to pick up dh from work, and the pan sprang a leak. We got home to a smoke-

filled house and a fire in the oven. It seems like the fire alarm went off too. The

bird was fine, but I stopped using disposable pans for anything heavier than a cake.

Oh no Susan!! I've had one spring a leak before, but luckily we caught it very quickly. What a mess!

DH and I just bought our first real turkey pan last weekend, so we should be all set this year.
