I thought this was going to be about physical / construction upgrades, but was pleasantly surprised that it's actually about gadgets and kitchen items. I'm was also surprised that I actually have most of these things! I remember the immersion blender that came with DH when I married him. I made him give it to Goodwill because "what in the world would I ever do with it?" haha! Now that I cook, I really wish I had one.

Hehehe, that reminds me of a funny story. We have the traditional hammer-like tenderizer, and I've never had any of the powdered (or whatever it is) meat tenderizer in the house. DH didn't even know what the hammer was for when I first bought it, lol, and he definitely didn't know about the other ways. He had some stiff muscles and a bit of a charlie horse and a friend of ours told him to put some meat tenderizer on it, and he got really confused as to how a hammer would help..... The friend then explained about the other kind, lol.

I have most of them too! I don't have the probe thermometer but I have an instant read.
