The only loaf pans I've ever used have been my mom's and the first time I baked some of her "Z" bread (its a recipe she has that can be used for zucchini, bananas, almost anything) I forgot to grease and sugar the pans to make sure I could get the loaves out

*sigh*
I have one loaf pan. I bought it fairly recently, bc I hated the way my breadmaker bakes the bread. I *think* it is a 9" pan...not sure. And sadly, I don't even know if that matters. I dont know when to use the 9" or any other. Looks like I need a lesson in bread baking, lol

I have two generic nonstick loaf pans. I don't use mine for meat loaf anymore either. I did't like the grease thing, and it took FOREVER to cook. So now I just make meat loaf patties, much faster and the grease cooks off of them.

The only thing I really use mine for is banana bread, I need to play around with homemade bread this winter!! I don't care for the way my bread maching makes regular bread either, I only use is regularly for cinnamon roll dough.

Yeah the only thing I use the bread maker for is to make doughs. I love how it makes the doughs. I have issues getting dough to rise in this house, so the machine provides that controlled environment. ...sorry off topic a tad!

Not at all, I was out on my own and had taken some with me when I moved out. But I did have to call and ask why my bread wouldn't fall out of the pan like it always did when I was a kid :( The step of greasing and sugaring the pan wasn't written on the recipe, and I had always made it with my mom before. She never forgot :)

That is great! Often I could use some extra time in the middle of a recipe. That fridge thing would be great! And doing half of the work a day ahead! Yay. Thanks for that tip. I am printing this out and adding it to my recipe box.

Did not know that! So by leaving it for 4 days, it wouldn't over inflate? Im not saying that I would do 4 days though, lol.
Thank you!
