The other side of that is Sara is not my legal name, Rachael is. I've gone by Sara-Rachael since the end of 6th grade though, all of my school registration papers, from 7th grade on, have both (it was handy in a couple of classes) which can make things like this a little confusing for me, hehe. and I just wanted to see what my maiden name would be, cause it was so much longer than my married name.
Hehe, my maiden name was 10 letters and my married is 5. I shocked a clerk when I was signing a check, she couldn't believe someone could sign as small as I did. I started it with my maiden name to make it fit on the lines, cause I couldn't otherwise. Whats funny is my mom told me the same thing, and I ended up doing it, just not on purpose.
My full name was 39, Hannah's was 44, and Madison's was 36. It's bad when I have to consult the girls' baby books to get the spelling of their Hawaiian middle names right.
LOL, I only used current name (which is my maiden name) but if I went through the whole "former" thing, I'd probably win the community chest!
My dad always said, "You need to marry a man with a short last name like "OAK."
