Oh and 2 tablespoon of dry active yeast is the same as 50 gram or 1.7 oz fresh yeast.

The packages are 1/4 oz, and 2 tbsp., right? What is the equivalent in the fresh? I looked at the store today, of course no yeast to be had. I'll look again after they re stock!

Thanks Karen! I've never seen this before, and I was a bit puzzled that it was on the shelf. I've been the little blocks of fresh yeast in the fridge section. But I'm intimidated by it!
