I know a lot of people who subscribe multiple times to get extra Sunday ads (and therefore coupons). How many do you get?

I need to get out of my house on Sundays anyhow so I go get my copy. I'm terrible at using just the one set of coupons in my paper sometimes. Do you find it costworthy to buy twice as much of something's? Will a store honor two coupons for the same item - assuming that you're buying the correct qty (i.e. the coupon is for one and you are buying two of whatever)?

In a family of four, buying twice of something that might expire doesn't always seem like a good idea.

I used to buy the Sunday paper for the coupons, until I started seeing that this was the ONLY reason I was buying the paper, and half the time I just wasn't getting enough savings to make it worth it.

As long as the number of products you're buying cooresponds to the number of coupons you're using you are good to go.

Where did you find such a great deal on the newspaper? I can't imagine anybody offering me the paper for $20/year. I am thankful that our local paper will let us subscribe to just the Sunday paper now. It use to be the shortest length for subscription was 3 days - which I had never hear of that long of a subscription before moving here!

It was just kismet - I mentioned to my mom that I really wanted to start getting a Sunday paper sub (after going out, buying a paper and having it NOT have any inserts - booo! :( ) and she happened to have just received something in the mail offering her a year sub for $20 - I told her I wanted 3 and she thought I was joking LOL

After I posted about buying 3 paper subs, a friend told me that sometimes at those community craft fairs, rec centers or local events they will have a booth for the local paper (mine is the Sacramento Bee by the way) and sell the sub for $15 a year. I'm soooo keeping my eye out for that deal this year!
