If you have wanted to check out Sam’s Club but don’t have a membership, this weekend is your chance to take a look around! Sam's Club is holding an Open House from 8/03 - 8/05 and you will also be able to shop with no upcharge while you are there.

Very cool! Our Sam's Club closed unfortunately. I actually liked them better than Costco. If you have one in your area- check them out for sure!

I love the big stores like Costco and Sam's Club- but man, you can buy just a handful of things and walk out spending a good chunk of change! I've found that I have to compare prices and see what's really worth it and what isn't. We buy all of our coffee beans from Costco as well as shredded cheese, spices (esp cinnamon and vanilla), milk, and some produce. We've also had good luck using our Costco card for hotel discounts and we even booked a Disneyland vacation through them. Good deals for sure!

I have a BJ's near me that I shop at once a month.  I agree, you can get just a few things, but the total adds up much quicker.  I'm not sure how Cosco or Sam's Club works, but at BJ's I can put store coupons together with manufacturer coupons and save a good amount of money.  Sometimes I can even use more then one manufacturer coupon.  For example, we get our Crest mouthwash from there.  We usually get a store coupon, and then since there are two bottles packaged together, we can use two manufacturer coupons as well.
