I was going to roast a chicken rotisserie style in my oven but when I opened it to clean the fatty sides of the back end were grey. I guess its the "vent" end. It was grey on both side and rather large areas I didn't know if it would be ok to cook and eat or not so the bird had flown the coop so to speak. Would it have been ok to prepare or is it better to be safe rather than sorry.
